I am a Business Development and Innovation Expert with over 20 years of experience mobilising institutional funding, building strategic partnerships, and developing evidence-based programmes for INGOs, NNGOs, and social enterprises across Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
My career spans the full development cycle from delivering HIV prevention services across seven Nigerian states as a community-based project officer, to serving as Capture Lead on a $45M USAID proposal and a $10M USCDC bid at Society for Family Health Nigeria, to growing Plan International Nigeria’s funding pipeline from near-zero to $17M in three months, to founding and leading ELSOPHI Global Development for 14 years.
I am the founder of ELSOPHI Global Development: a social enterprise with 14 years of community programming in Kogi State and the FCT, currently running three integrated proof-of-concept pilots in education, health access, and livelihoods. I am also the Global Team Lead of Solution Global Consults Ltd, a specialist consulting firm that helps NGOs and social enterprises build sustainable funding pipelines and organisational systems.
I hold an MSc in International Business and Development from the University of Sussex, UK (Chevening Scholar, 2024), an MPA from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, and a PGD from Kogi State University. I am a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants Nigeria (FIMC).
I believe that African-led organisations doing the most important development work are often the least funded not because their work is weak, but because they have not yet found the language, the systems, or the relationships that institutional donors respond to. My life’s work is changing that.
